Public Music Practice Room is a small, prefabricated space containing some basic music equipment that can be used by those without access to their own studio.
Public Music Practice Room can be set up anywhere. This modular, prefabricated space is an alternative music practice room for the many people who like to play and enjoy music with their friends, but cannot afford to rent a music practice room – for example, unemployed youth and senior citizens. Central or local authorities can purchase the seventeen-square-metre unit and transport it by truck to any suitable location.
It is furnished with some essential non-portable music equipment such as a drum kit and a keyboard (with the best use of the space having been considered). Users are to bring their own smaller, more portable instruments, such as guitars. Public Music Practice Room is a sealed space with soundproof settings. The front façade is glazed so the musicians are always visible. The glazing was specified in order to prevent crime within the space. |
