Linea

Linea is a modular outdoor seating system, suitable to both public and private spaces.

The Linea seating system contains several units – a basic lounge chair, two asymmetrical benches, a leg-rest, and a low-table. These can be arranged in numerous variations for private and public spaces as an all-season outdoor furniture family.

Each Linea unit is 3D-moulded from one whole 12-mm-thick “Eternit” board (3,000 x 1,100cm). "Eternit" is a cellulose-fibre reinforced cement material generally used for roofing and panelling. The use of whole sheets for each unit reduces off-cuts to a minimum, and allows maximum material efficiency. In its soaked condition the material can be easily moulded. After a twelve-hour hardening process, the chairs are highly stable thanks to the controlled expansion and compression of the material.

“Eternit” is highly durable, 100% water-resistant, easy to clean, UV-colour resistant, and due to its natural components (cellulose-based) it is fully recyclable. For public spaces several units can be connected with hidden aluminium joining pieces.
