In the world where aggressively spreading lift accessed mountain biking is expanding fast, Pearl integral mountain bike helmet introduces an ecologically and functionally encouraging alternative for extreme sports protection.
By delving into their extensive mountain biking background knowledge, the designers were able to develop relevant head protection solutions to address several key issues faced by today’s progressive mountain bikers: helmet weight, ventilation and protection levels – and mountain trail accessibility with heavier long travel bikes. By using Pearl, riders are able to lift the chin guard up while climbing to maximise air-flow to nose and mouth for better performance. When descending or approaching technical sections, rider can instantly lower the chin guard for maximum protection.
Pearl concept includes such innovative key features as minimalistic integral chin protector locking/hinge mechanism, RIM internal skeleton with air gauges to gradually release pressure depending on impact forces. Integrated helmet chin strap end caps / goggle strap stoppers also connect the multiple impact shell to the core structure. Interchangeable shell is designed to allow maximum customisability in terms of individual expression (color and graphics) and ventilation (different perforated patterns) to service different markets and climates.
Before Pearl, no feasible head protection has existed to allow ski lift or shuttle free ecologically conscious extreme mountain biking out of bounds. With its simple and innovative design, Pearl enables all day epic climbs and downhill sessions without compromising your comfort and safety – and the environment.
