An electric superbike free from many traditional design elements presented unique design challenges. ROBRADY design addressed them by creating a design palette for the electric superbike that incorporates its innovations and celebrates them.

With stratospheric fuel costs and global warming posing serious questions, the electric superbike stands in a unique position to offer answers. The Superbike’s sheathed chassis, floating seat and streamlined design demand attention by echoing the sensation of freedom and speed that the bike induces. The absence of an engine as focal point marks a paradigm shift presenting new horizons where innovative engineering is incorporated into unprecedented design. Battery packs, an aluminum chassis and a single shock absorber not only promise superb handling with a barely perceptible vibration; they also make possible a sleeker, more visually distinctive design than today’s conventional superbikes can achieve. The result is performance aesthetics complemented by design aesthetics.

The ROBRADY Vectrix Electric Superbike design can be realized with current materials proving not only the inevitability of the electric superbike, but its impact on the market. The superbike is a concept vehicle that extends the knowledge gained from ROBRADY’s part in developing the existing Vectrix scooter to create the ultimate configuration for today’s electric vehicle technology. The original design was developed internally to capture ROBRADY’s experience and knowledge in progressive electric vehicle design.

Incorporating electric technology allowed ROBRADY to create an unprecedented design with an undeniable edge in the current superbike aesthetic. Its looks attract attention and generate excitement about the possibility of superbike design and the promise of electric vehicle technology.

ROBRADY design quickly distinguishes itself in an arena where the “erotic” suggestion of speed and performance are de rigueur. But its revolutionary form doesn’t simply chill the spine and stir the soul; it arouses the passion of those who will ride it with visions of wind- whipped hair on the open road...and the envy of all those who will not.
