Tongue Control has been designed for people
who have lost the use of their upper limbs,
and who face the problem of manipulating
technology-related instruments.
Tongue Control helps to resolve many of the
inconveniences faced by people who have
lost the use of their upper limbs. The tongue
contains strong muscles that align in three
directions, so it can move nimbly.
Tongue Control connects tongue movements
with a wireless emission device to control
electronic equipment, such as remote controls,
the computer mouse and keyboard. Infrared
lasers positioned beside the cheek read the
tongue’s movements inside the mouth. Tongue
Control has been designed to suit the shape
of the human head so that it will not slip off
easily. |
