The Lunar Baby Thermometer fits ergonomically into the parent’s hand to enable the effective measurement of a baby’s temperature.
Taking a baby’s temperature with thermometers that currently exist on the market can be a challenging task for parents. They have to keep the baby still and place
the thermometer under the tongue or arm to obtain a valid reading of the temperature. The Lunar Baby Thermometer works in sync with the placing of a hand over the baby’s forehead to measure the internal heat of the body. Its organic and ergonomic form allows the user
to intuitively hold and use it, while providing a secure grip in the user’s hand.
Checking the temperature by scanning the forehead with this device is easier and faster than using traditional thermometers, since it eliminates the need to insert an external tool while holding the child still. A beeping sound
followed by a flashing LED signal alerts the user when the temperature has been taken. In addition, the user is able to clearly see the temperature on the LCD screen while holding the device as well as the child. |
