With a central slit, the Double-Sides Slippers
can be worn from both the top and the bottom.
It is common practice to leave one’s slippers
beside the bed before tucking in. Fumbling
to put the slippers the right-way-around for wearing when one wakes up can be an
inconvenience, however. Either the wearer
has to adjust their body position to suit the
slippers, or the slippers need to be flipped with
one’s feet until they face the right direction.
Although an insignificant problem to many, this
commonplace issue may sometimes lead to
frustrations.
Made of a thin sheet of rubber with a slit in the middle, Double-Sides Slippers have been designed to enable the user to wear the slippers from both directions. This dualistic
concept is based on the traditional Chinese Yin and Yang philosophy. If the slippers are not facing the right direction, the user has to simply use the feet to tap on the slippers in
order to get them to face the desired direction
for wearing.
In addition to the harmonious form and colour used in the design, the slippers’ soft and flexible material provides comfort. The
material used also helps retain the slippers’
original form when they are taken off. |
