Offering a convenient way to freshen up
clothes without washing them, Deodr
combines the effects of a photocatalyst light
tube and fan-induced convection to remove
unpleasant smells.
Deodr removes unpleasant smells from
clothes and makes them smell fresh. The
photocatalyst light tube in combination with
air convection makes efficient deoderisation
possible. Avoiding the use of water and
laundry liquid has benefits for the environment
as well as the clothes. This freshening process
is much more gentle on fabrics than washing.
The air convection is an upward flow created
by fans on the top of Deodr. The fabric
“lampshade”, which raises the efficiency of
the air convection, can be composed of any
fabric preferred by the user. The use of fabric
makes the package compact and therefore
cuts down transportation costs associated
with manufacture and distribution, while also
making it more portable.
Using Deodr is easy. Just hang the clothes
within the “lampshade” and set the controller
to deodorise for about 15 to 30 minutes. Any
unpleasant smells, such as perfume residue,
will be removed quickly. Deodr would be very
useful for business travelers. While Deodr will
remove smells, washing is still required for
stain removal.
